We’re now looking for a Marketing Assistant (MA) to join our Spanish subsidiary and help ensure our brand is consistently delivered to the highest standards.
About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will act as the key link between our UK Head Office and our Spanish team, ensuring all marketing outputs remain aligned.
In this varied, hands‑on role, you will translate and maintain marketing literature, support events and exhibitions, manage marketing inventory, and help deliver the local marketing plan. You will also spend time, approximately 8 days per month, visiting Vet practices across the country – working with them to strengthen the VetPlus presence in their practice.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is highly organised, detail‑focused, and ready to grow within a fast‑paced international marketing environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
Marketing Support
Work with the Head of Marketing to develop and execute the local marketing plan.
Translate and update all labels, packaging, product information, and marketing materials in line with SOPs and approval processes.
Manage all local marketing material inventory.
Update competitor analysis quarterly.
Support social media platforms with enquiries, content, and responses.
Participate in divisional Marketing meetings as required.
Sales Team Support
Administer the Lunch & Learn programme.
Maintain the Partnership and Loyalty programmes
Ensure all actions are recorded within the CRM system for ASM visibility.
Events & Conferences
Support the planning and delivery of exhibitions and conferences in collaboration with the Events Manager and Head of Marketing.
Ensure all events follow correct processes for booking, set‑up, accommodation and post‑event activity
Marketing Administration
Ensure all marketing materials receive appropriate sign‑off before printing.
Maintain up‑to‑date hard copies of all marketing literature.
Support annual Subsidiary Business Plan production
What We’re Looking For
Experience & Skills
Native Spanish speaker and fully fluent in English
At least 5 years’ experience in a similar marketing or administrative role.
Proven administrative skills in a customer‑driven environment
Fluent in written and spoken English.
Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
Confident using PowerPoint, Excel and Word
Ability to work independently with strong time‑management skills.
A full driving licence
